Seasonal Service

Pool Opening Service

Start your season right.

After a long Canadian winter, your pool needs more than just pulling the cover off. We handle every step so your pool is clean, balanced, and swim-ready from day one.

What's included

Every opening follows the same checklist. We do not leave until your pool is running properly.

Remove and clean cover

We carefully remove your winter cover, pump off standing water, clean it, and fold it for storage.

Inspect all equipment

We inspect your pump, filter, heater, and all other equipment for winter damage, worn parts, or anything that needs attention before the season starts.

Reconnect plumbing

We reinstall drain plugs, reconnect all plumbing lines, and remove winterizing plugs from skimmers and returns. Everything gets checked for tight, leak-free connections.

Start filtration system

We prime the pump, start the filter, and make sure water is flowing properly through the entire system. We check for leaks, unusual sounds, and proper pressure.

Balance water chemistry

We test your water and add the right chemicals to get your pH, alkalinity, chlorine, and calcium levels where they need to be. Balanced water protects your pool and your swimmers.

Safety inspection

Before we leave, we do a walk-around to check for safety concerns: loose rails, damaged coping, tripping hazards, and anything else that could be a problem this season.

When should you book?

The best time to book your pool opening is early spring, ideally March or April. The earlier you get on the schedule, the earlier your pool is ready. And opening before the weather gets warm helps prevent algae from getting a head start in stagnant water under the cover.

We typically start opening pools in late April to early May, depending on the weather. Spots fill up fast, so booking early means you pick the date that works for you instead of taking whatever is left.

Not sure if it is time? A good rule of thumb: if daytime temperatures are consistently above 10 degrees Celsius, it is time to start thinking about your opening.
